Senior Office Coordinator

£30000 - £31000 per annum

The Role: In this Senior Office Coordinator role you'll report to the Head of Parks (who is responsible for management of the boroughs greenspaces) and will be primarily responsible for the office management. Specific tasks include:

  • Providing administrative support including general office admin, phones, meeting rooms, overseeing office equipment, co-ordinating with provider, liaising with suppliers, facilities and budget management.
  • Overseeing the reception and assisting with park-wide queries from stakeholders and clients.
  • Managing and monitoring email traffic into the office inbox.
  • Logging and recording of any information from inbox and phone calls onto the system.
  • Providing communications to the public, services and council.
  • Overseeing of project implementation - risk mapping, identifying key deliverables and timelines
  • Designing and implementing tools to manage all Events.
  • Handling of health and safety compliance and carrying out quarterly hazard control checks using departmental procedures.

It will be working from their office in Battersea. The standard working hours for this job are 9.00-5.00.

Project Assistant

£22000 - £23000 per annum

Are you a talented Project Assistant, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience of supporting the team in delivering projects? If so then you could be perfect for my client, a Children Charity based in London. Remote working.

The Role: In this Project Assistant role you'll report to the Project Manager and will be primarily responsible for supporting with the logistics of the projects. Specific tasks include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinating logistics of the team, senior staff and/or volunteers including diary management, travel and meetings.
  • Planning internal and external meetings and events including preparing information packs, drafting agendas, taking minutes.
  • To create, edit and proof-read business communications and documents including assisting with the production of project reports, publications and promotional material and up-dating web-sites and social media
  • To be actively engaged in the development of new projects and programmes across the department, and agree tasks within them as appropriate.

Membership Administrator

£11 - £12 per hour

Charity Talent are recruiting for a Membership Administrator to work in a Social Welfare Charity. This is to start ASAP until June 2021 with a possible extension. It will be remote working until May.

As the Membership Administrator you will report to Head of Membership. You will be responsible for processing Membership applications and payments. You will organise and process data and financial transactions.

As the Membership Administrator you will accurately input data and the amendment of data. You will also deal with any administration tasks provided from the wider team.

The Candidate: This is the ideal job for someone who has entry level experience within the Charity Sector that wants to pursue their career within Supporter Care / Data. You will need to possess administration experience in an office environment. Charity Talent also need you to have prior experience of data entry (Raiser's Edge preferable).

Supporter Care Assistant

Up to £11 per hour

Charity Talent are recruiting for a Supporter Care Assistant for an Health charity. This is around a 2 month temp role with the possibility to extend. This is a ASAP start. It will be working from home.

The Role: As the Supporter Care Assistant you will be the first point of contact for supporters and members. You will respond to queries, mostly by phone but also email, letter, social media and web chat on all aspects of their work. You will effectively respond to all enquiries, requests for information and complaints received into their Supporter Care team, taking ownership of these enquiries. You will be using templates for the responses to supporter emails.

As the Support Care Assistant you will maintain electronic and written communications within the database to ensure customer records are kept up to date and information is available for management reports. You will keep an up-to-date knowledge of the full range of services, products, campaigns and activities across this Charity. This role is to put the supporter at the heart of every engagement by delivering excellent customer service

The Candidate: To be considered for the Supporter Care Assistant role you will need to possess administration experience in an office environment. Charity Talent also need you to have prior experience of dealing with a high volume of emails/calls.

Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a personable and flexible approach.
  • Experience working in a customer service role
  • Strong IT skills including excel.

HR Team Coordinator

£13 - £14 per hour

Are you a talented HR Team Coordinator or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience of supporting the team and dealing with a wide range of administrative tasks? If so then you could be perfect for my client, a Social Welfare Charity based in London.

The Role: In this temporary HR Team Coordinator role you'll report to the HR Manager and will be primarily responsible for supporting with every day running of the office. Specific tasks include:

  • Maintaining and updating all information onto the systems
  • Handling initial telephone enquiries
  • Postal and photocopying duties
  • Dealing with the arrangements of meetings within the office including booking and preparing meeting rooms, and organising refreshments, taking notes, and setting up IT equipment as required.
  • Assisting with the social media channels.

For the 4 months that this role is due to last, you will spend part of the working week (1-2 days) based in the Charities London office, and the rest of it working from home. Details around how this will work will be revealed on application. The standard working hours for this job are 9.00-5.00.
