Job Description

Charity Talent are recruiting for a Communications Administrator to work for a Youth Charity. This is an ASAP start and a 3 month temp role.

As the Communications Assistant you will support the Communications Team with administrative support. You will respond to general enquiries. You will monitor the Communications In-box.

You will support with content creation for interviews - research and transcribing. You will also source images for their website and news stories. You will assist the team with chasing content from the Education Team. Monitor Google alerts and sharing links.

As the Communications Administrator you will be the main point of contact for the Charity Commission. Other responsibilities will include booking meetings, circulating meeting action points. You will be responsible for ad-hoc research for Dialogue articles and online publications. You will manage the print production schedule and this includes editing and organising the design and uploading on to website of materials.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who like to develop a career in Communications as they might be an opportunity to step up into a more senior position.

You will have experience in supporting a Communications Team within the Charities / NFP Sector.

    Charity Talent are recruiting for a Events & Community Officer working for a Mental Health Charity. This is a 6 month contract with the possibility to extend and to start ASAP. It will be remote working for the time being and possibly 1-2 days in their London office come June.

    As a Events & Community Officer you will be sustaining and developing the Events & Community Fundraising programme as well as support the upcoming challenge and community events and Mental Health Awareness Week (10-16 May 2021).

    You will be supporting the Fundraising team in implementing the Fundraising strategy by maximising income and donor loyalty from events and community fundraisers. You will also be helping with their brand awareness to increase engagement with participants online.

    You will be undertaking fundraising and event administrative tasks including the fulfilment of community and event enquiries and bookings and taking full responsibility of the Events Inbox. You will supply the best service possible to event and community fundraisers via fundraising and training advice in writing, by phone, e-mail, text, website forums, pre- and post-event receptions.

    As a Events & Community Officer you will also contribute to the creative side by providing business, marketing and communications plans to support existing and instigate new cost-effective events and community fundraising initiatives. You will work in close collaboration with colleagues in the Individual Giving team on joint fundraising targets and planning and support the team with the development of new recruitment strategies to maximise the number of supporters taking part in events.

    Experience:

    Demonstrable relevant experience working in fundraising, event or marketing team (1 years )

    £28000 - £31000 per annum

    Charity Talent are recruiting for a Fundraising & Database Officer working for a Mental Health Charity. This is a 6 month contract with the possibility to extend and to ASAP. It will be remote working for the time being and possibly 1-2 days in their London office come June.

    As a Fundraising & Database Officer you will be supporting the Database Manager in leading on the strategic development of Raiser's Edge fundraising database and supporter care processes in particular during the lead up to Mental Health Awareness Week (10-16 May 2021).

    You will be undertaking database management and database housekeeping procedures in accordance with agreed protocols such as cleaning and compacting the database, identifying and merging duplicate records, removing or archiving redundant data to ensure the efficient operation of the system and all follows GDPR protocols. You will also be working with and provide absence support for the Supporter Services Executive in their day-to-day database administration including processing daily gifts, coding them accurately, exporting to Raiser's Edge and thanking as appropriate.

    You will produce reports and queries for standard monthly payment and collection reports as requested by the Finance Department, external agencies and the Head of Public Fundraising, that can then be utilised by colleagues in Fundraising to help manage their areas of responsibility.

    You will support on internal and external relationship management, including to maintain excellent supporter relationships by telephone, email and post and to work closely other colleagues across the organisation, including, Finance, Fundraising Communications, and Programmes teams.

    Experience:

    Raiser Edge (2 years )

    Handling high volume of data

    Proficient on Excel Spreadsheets

    Demonstrable relevant experience working in Fundraising, or a Charity database team
