Charity Talent are recruiting for a Prestigious Museum based in the City of London. They are recruiting for a Fundraising Research and Database assistant. This is an on-going contract.
As the Fundraising Research and Database assistant you will assist with administration for the Prospect Research team in advance of meetings, events and other fundraising related activities. You will be responsible for summarising donor information recorded on database and online research databases. You will be compiling grant-making record for Trusts and Foundations from annual reports available from the charity commission.
As the Fundraising Research and Database assistant you will input research requests following prospecting meetings where required. You will collate information, conduct research and produce reports as required, working with the Development and Finance teams as appropriate. You will be responsible for database tasks including ensuring all new proposals and running ad-hoc reports.
Experience within a fundraising and/or development operations department
Experience using fundraising/CRM databases and the ability to learn new software packages quickly
Previous experience using Raisers Edge would be beneficial
Able to create formal reports for senior meetings; carrying out background research and presenting findings in a confident and coherent way
Experience of accurately maintaining records, databases and filing systems
Experience working with confidential and basic financial information
