Charity Talent Recruitment are recruiting for a Temp Trust Fundraising Coordinator for an Animal charity.

Are you a talented Trust Fundraising Coordinator, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you can support the Philanthropy and Trusts team with all fundraising and administrative tasks? If so then you could be perfect for my client, a Animal Charity based in London.

This is a 3 month temp role for 2 days per week is an ASAP start. It will 2 days in the office near Victoria Station (SW1V 1JU), London.

The Role: As the Temp Trust Fundraising Coordinator you will be doing the following tasks:

  • Ensure the trust data is clean and managed well on the CRM system.
  • Be the first point of contact for supporters and members.
  • Send out thank you letters and cards to appropriate members.
  • You will respond to queries, mostly by phone and email, letter on all aspects of their work.
  • You will effectively respond to all enquiries and requests for information into the Trust team.
  • Update records on our fundraising database.

The Candidate: To be considered for the Trust Fundraising Coordinator role you will need to possess administration experience in an office environment. Charity Talent also need you to have prior experience of dealing with a high volume of tasks.

    The Candidate: To be considered for the Direct Marketing Manager role you will need to provide proven experience managing direct marketing campaigns in a charity environment. Other skills inciude:

    • Experience of monitoring and setting budgets in a direct marketing context.
    • Experience of creating effective mass supporter journeys to improve engagement with supporters.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with a diverse range of internal and external.
    • Experience of managing external agencies and suppliers.
    • Experience of developing digital communications.

    Are you a talented Communication and Project Assistant, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you can assist the communication team on a specific project including to research, populate and cross-reference a content calendar?     This role is an immediate start and is temporary for four weeks with the possibility to extend. This role will be hybrid working - office near Chancery Lane station (WC1V).

    The Role: In this Communication and Project Assistant, you will report to Communication Manager. Specific tasks include:

    • Formatting and preparing communication to the rest of the team and charity.
    • To liaise with staff to ensure that all documentation for projects is up to date.
    • Research specific topics given by the team and put into a formal report.
    • Assist with internet searches for awareness days and key events in the political, academic and cultural calendar.
    • Deal with all administrative tasks related to this short project.
    • To be the first point of contact in dealing with queries and issues.
    • To assist in reviewing all documentation and paperwork.
    • Data entry into the CRM system in an efficient manner.

    The Candidate: To be considered for the Communication and Project Assistant role you will need to demonstrable experience working in a team supporting multiple people.

    Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:

    • Admin skills are key, as is accuracy, a strong eye for detail.
    • Experience with desk research skills.
    • Experience of working in a comms / creative environment would be very useful, as would be an ability to work on their own initiative.
    • They will also need to be comfortable working across different platforms.

  • Temp Fundraising Event Assistant

    Are you a talented Temp Fundraising Event Assistant, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience supporting the events team with all london marathon queries and logistics matters? If so then you could be perfect for my client, a Health based Charity in London.

    This is a 3 month temp role and ASAP start. It is a part time role for 21 hours per week and 3 days attendance in the office. Office is near Leicester Square, London, WC2H.

    The Role: In this Temp Fundraising Event Assistant role you'll report to the Community Manager. Specific tasks include:

    • Assist with all tasks related to 2023 London Marathon.
    • Develop and deliver all communications going out to the team.
    • Send out scheduled emails and letters to appropriate people.
    • Proactively making calls as required by the Manager to give support and help with an individual's fundraising.
    • Being the first point of contact for all questions and queries on the phone, email and Facebook.
    • Liaise with participants before and after the event.
    • Send out event materials as requested
    • Monitoring the Events inbox, Facebook and Whatapps groups.
    • Deal with all engagements related to the groups and responding to queries and requests as necessary.

    The Candidate: To be considered for the Temp Fundraising Event Assistant role you will need to possess strong relationship management experience.

    Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:

    • Excellent organisation skills, time management and multitasking skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and dealing with a wide range of people.
