Charity Talent Recruitment are recruiting for a HR Team Assistant for an Homeless Charity. Are you a talented HR Team Assistant or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience of supporting the team for a busy project and deal with a wide range of administrative tasks? If so then you could be perfect for my client, a Homeless Charity based in London.

This is an immediate 3-month temp job with the possibility to extend and will be to primarily supporting on the homeless winter shelter recruitment. This is a part time role 3 days a week (21 hours). This is an ASAP start. It will be hybrid working with a few days in the office near Victoria Station (SW1V 1JU), London.

The Role: In this temporary HR Team Assistant role you'll report to the Head of Operations and will be primarily responsible for supporting with every day running of the service. Specific tasks include:

  • Manage the team email inbox and telephone line and responding appropriately to enquiries requests
  • Support the efficient administration of all Employee life-cycle processes.
  • Informing applicants of their application outcome.
  • Collecting references for successful applicants.
  • Process the onboarding of new starters including overseeing collation of required. documents and preparing contracts.
  • Creating and amending any relevant HR documents.

The Candidate: To be considered for the HR Team Assistant role you will need to possess experience of working in a customer focused role with strong administrative skills.

Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:

  • Undertaking administrative duties.
  • Strong focus on customer service experience
  • Having prior HR experience would be an advantage
  • Experience of developing good working relationships with colleagues or customers.
  • Experience of using a human resources database or other type of database to input data and produce documents.
  • Has good attention to detail, takes pride in their work.
