Receptionist - Social Welfare Charity

£12 - £13 per hour

Job Description

Are you a talented Receptionist, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you can support every visitor that enters the building and provide a warm and inviting welcome? If so then you could be perfect for my client, a Social Welfare charity in their training college based in South London.

This is an immediate 6 week temp role based near Clapham. The hours are based on 2 shifts (you will only be working one of them): 7am to 2.30pm OR 2pm to 9pm on Monday to Friday.

The Role: As the Receptionist you will be doing the following:

  • Ensuring that visitors' needs are met.
  • Checking visitors in and out
  • Answering telephone calls to the general number.
  • Offering telephone support for maintenance issues and updating the facilities management system in this regard.
  • Monitoring the CCTV with regards to the main gates and providing access for visitors and deliveries.
  • Dealing with calls from the house entry systems.
  • Any other duty requested which will help make the college a welcoming and secure place to live, work or visit.
  • Collecting and transporting all items of post to the post room.

Admin Assistant

Are you a talented Admin Assistant x5, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience being part of a team and supporting on administrative tasks? If so then you could be perfect for my client, a Social Welfare Charity based in Birmingham. This is a permanent and looking for someone to start ASAP. This role will be working from home with occasional visits to the Birmingham office - candidate needs to be close to Birmingham office for urgent meetings and training days. The standard working hours will be 35 hours a week Monday to Friday.

The Role: In this Admin Assistant role you'll report to the Contract Manager and will be provide responsive administrative support. Specific tasks include:

  • Undertaking quality Assurance checks on forms.
  • Providing recommendations for meeting the ongoing support needs of clients.
  • Inputting data onto the System to create client record.
  • Support with referrals for potential clients.
  • Distributing incoming email correspondence to designated team members for ongoing actions.
  • Accurately input data to Excel spreadsheets

The Candidate:

To be considered for the Admin Assistant role you will need to possess previous admin experience and data entry skills.

Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:

  • Be an effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Project Manager (Internal)

Are you a talented Project Manager, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience project managing a number of internal improvement projects? If so then you could be perfect for my client, an Youth Charity in London.

This role is an immediate start and part time open to 3 or 4 days a week. This role is temporary for 4 months with the possibility to extend and will be hybrid working but mainly at home, office is in Charing Cross.

The Role: In this Project Manager role, you will report to Director of Delivery. Specific tasks include:

  • Ensure all projects will be run smoothly and efficiently, within budget and meet their outputs and outcomes.
  • Specifically support on the project of the CRM implementation across different work streams.
  • Assist in creating and building upon working processes within the department.
  • Maintain efficiency of the department landing page - making sure that resources are up to date across platforms.
  • Work closely with the other Project Managers and hold strong relationships with the several Departments to ensure alignment and a streamlined approach.
  • Undertake any other duties and reasonable requests.

The Candidate: To be considered for the Project Manager role you will need to demonstrable experience of project management, planning and organising.

Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:

  • Inspiring, motivating and articulate communicator.
  • proactive approach, self-motivated and enthusiastic with very high levels of initiative.
  • Demonstrate significant management experience, specifically implementation of internal improvements projects and digital platforms.
  • Experience of quality assurance.
  • Strong relationship building skills .
  • Well-developed IT skills, including an understanding of CRM systems.
  • Understanding and empathy of the current issues facing young people.

Operations and Executive Officer

Are you a talented Operations and Executive Officer, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience supporting the governance, administration and planning of a charity as well as be the central point of contact for the Executive Team? If so then you could be perfect for my client, an International Charity in London.

This role is 6 month FTC with the possibility to be extended. ASAP start and hybrid working near Canada Water.

The Role: In this role, you will report to the CEO and support the executive team of 8 people. The specific tasks include:

  • Coordinate the relationship between operational support and project delivery.
  • Support coordination of organisation-wide process and cycle.
  • Oversee central systems training for all staff in relation to new systems, policies and compliance.
  • Work closely with Finance team to ensure systems and processes run smoothly.
  • Manage and maintain effective relationships with External Stakeholders.
  • Support the management of the HR Information System.
  • Oversee the Operations Department budget, ensuring all needs of the organisation as a whole are covered.
  • Ensure the documentation for Board and Board Committee Meetings is produced timely and is fit for purpose.

The Candidate: To be considered for the Operations and Executive Officer role you will need to demonstrable experience of substantial responsibility within Operations, Administration and Finance. As well as:

  • Experience working effectively and respectfully with executive teams, as well as senior-level members.
  • Highly organised.
  • Ability to plan, organise, schedule and budget effectively.
  • Proven experience in building excellent stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical, project management and planning skills.
  • Self starter and high degree of personal ownership, accuracy and precision in carrying out tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • An innovative thinker, able to spot opportunities and pre-empt challenges quickly, then effectively problem solving.
