Job Description

Are you a talented Service Manager, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience working with asylum seekers and can ensure the smooth running of services with excellent internal processes for project design and delivery? If so then you could be perfect for my client, a Youth Charity based near Purley. This is an permanent role with hybrid working (1-3 days in their office) .

The Role: In this Service Manager role you will be the key contact for most of the grants in the area and managing your own team. Specific tasks include:

  • Provide excellent leadership to the team, have a focus on staff wellbeing, and devote time to their senior management responsibilities. Line management of 2 direct reports and an additional 4.
  • Build strong local partnerships and influencing local practice and networks.
  • Support on the recruitment, training and induction of new staff and maintaining oversite of volunteer recruitment.
  • To hold team meetings, monthly staff one-to-one meetings and annual performance development reviews.
  • To lead the development of programme of activities and services.
  • To be responsible for implementing the monitoring and evaluation plans for the projects, working closely with the Impact Manager..
  • To ensure compliance with project funders terms and conditions.
  • To ensure financial procedures are followed by the Team and meticulous approach to expenses is adopted.
  • To lead on office health and safety with the Head of Finance and Internal Operations.

  • list Data Project Coordinator x5 - Birmingham

    Are you a talented Data Project Coordinator x5, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience being part of a team and supporting with their services? If so then you could be perfect for my client, a Social Welfare Charity based in Birmingham. This is a 14 month FTC and looking for someone to start ASAP. This role will be working from home with occasional visits to the Birmingham office - candidate needs to be close to Birmingham office for urgent meetings and training days. The standard working hours will be 35 hours a week Monday to Friday.

    The Role: In this Data Project Coordinator role you'll report to the Operation Manager and will be ensuring the accuracy of service users entitlements. Specific tasks include:

    • Investigate financial records on the system to validate and confirm accurate payment of financial support entitlements.
    • Liaise with service users and other third parties, to verify data records.
    • Accurately identify and record an report payment.
    • Support on the project and services that the charity offers.
    • Manage the appropriate maintenance of records and personal information in line with the Data Protection Act.
    • Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of targets.
    • Manage your time effectively to prioritise your workload in agreement with the Project Coordinator.

    The Candidate:

    To be considered for the Data Project Coordinator role you will need to possess previous admin experience and strong Excel skills.

    Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:

    • Good proven numeracy skills
    • Demonstrable successful experience of data inputting, analysis and data manipulation.
    • The capability to work effectively within a fast-paced working environment
    • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong IT skills with experience of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and database systems.
  • Event Executive (flexible hours)

    Are you a talented Event Executive with programme delivery experience are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have the skills to plan and deliver a range of learning programmes in accordance with well-defined processes? If so, you could be perfect for my Higher Education client based in London.

    The programmes vary in length and involve elements of preparation work completed flexibly and remotely, followed by a concentrated period of time for the delivery of the programmes (which could be up to 5 days in a week) in London (near Kings Cross). You will be paid a fixed amount upon completion of the programmes and you will be required to complete 5 days paid organisational training along with 5 days paid shadowing of the delivery of a programme (some of which can be done remotely). The organisation boasts a clientele of world renowned companies and you will be assigned to programmes in accordance to your strengths and your availability to complete them. This would suit an individual who is either seeking ad-hoc work or to supplement existing freelance commitments.

    The Role: As the Event Executive you will carry out the following  tasks:

    • Understands and oversees programme requirements and continuously improving the accurate production of learning materials.
    • Monitors standard processes and activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Engages participants through online platform with interactive and participative networking and social activities
    • Provides outstanding customer experience on programmes delivered and understanding customer needs and requirements.
    • Ensure suppliers are engaged on programme, ensuring quality and value for money.
    • Builds sound relationships and acts as key contact for programme stakeholders.
    • Sets and manages stakeholder expectations.
    • Monitors and reviews financial activity for own area to ensure the accurate completion of standard financial processes within budget

    The Candidate: To be considered for the Event Executive role you will need to possess experience in programme/events delivery/management (including preparation, delivery and wrap up activities). Charity Talent also need you to have mastery of online learning delivery tools.

    £18 - £20 per hour

    Are you a talented Executive Assistant, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience playing a key role in ensuring that a senior member of staff can deliver their responsibilities, through administration and logistical support? If so then you could be perfect for my client, an Education Charity. This role is 2-month temporary role with the possibility to extend. Hybrid working in their office near Oxford Circus.

    The Role: In this Executive Assistant role, the specific tasks include:

    • Design, develop and establish clear systems and processes to organise yourself and teams.
    • Schedule meetings, bookings and reminders.
    • Support Chief Executive with meeting planning and agendas.
    • Arrange and book travel and accommodation and manage expenses
    • Raise purchase orders and process invoices where relevant
    • Support on recruitment, scheduling of and undertaking of interviews and candidate contact
    • Lead coordination of all staff monthly meetings and Operations team meeting.

    The Candidate: To be considered for the Executive Assistant role you will need to demonstrable strong administration experience. As well as:

    • Previous experience in managing others' diaries desirable but not a requirement
    • Good understanding of MS Outlook calendars
    • Commitment to learning data processing technology and software skills (eg Excel and Salesforce)
    • Ability to support a team during busy periods.
