Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator

£17 - £18 per hour

Job Description

Charity Talent are recruiting for an Education Charity. They are recruiting for a Temporary Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator to start at the end of January for 4 months with a possible extension. The Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator role is to sustain and secure partnerships with local authorities and Children's trusts, in order to develop hundreds of fellows annually.

They are looking for someone who is able to persuade and influence others, challenge decisions when relevant. This role requires someone who is enthusiastic about working to maintain, and where relevant, improve the satisfaction with their local authority partners.

Local authorities play a critical role in their programmes. You will be responsible for the allocation of participants to units based within partner authorities or trusts. Their participants then spend a year in the local authority learning how to apply their academic learning to children and families in need.

Local authorities' children's services are complex organisations facing a range of challenges and pressures. They need to work closely with them so that they can provide the best learning experience for their participants, but also so that they can benefit in terms of their own service and practice development as a result of their partnership with the Charity.

You are responsible for all activity required to maintain strong, long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships with every local authority or children's trust in England. This role will have a direct impact on the quality of programme implementation. You will create effective relationships at all organisational levels, and have the opportunity to apply and further develop high level communication and influencing skills at both 1:1 and wider group level.


  • Evidence of having established, developed and managed effective relationships with range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively to deliver desired outcomes, including presentation skills.
  • Strong track record of successful planning and delivery of complex projects. Experience of leading and driving change in services / programmes.
  • Good understanding of social care statutory responsibilities of local authorities (desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills..
  • Highly organised and able to manage complexity and high levels of detail.
  • Ability to interrogate and reflect on a range of different types of data, consider hypotheses, and develop into strategic and operational plans.

  • Digital Learning Administrator

    Charity Talent are recruiting for a Digital Learning Administrator working for an Education Charity. This is to start ASAP for 6 months, with a possible extension. It will be remote working.

    As the Digital Learning Administrator you will be supporting the Digital Learning team who run all of the online learning and digital support for the programmes including delivery of online teaching days and support with assignment submissions. This role will be focusing on administrative tasks to ensure the team can respond quickly to students and staff.

    As a Digital Learning Administrator you will be in charge of the inbox management as well as setting up of meetings/ teaching sessions and hosting of these on zoom (purely logistical - no teaching). You will be dealing with Moodle (virtual learning platform) administration, uploading of recordings onto online system, minuting meetings and capturing decisions in design meetings.

    You will also oversee staff queries during delivery as well as participant queries during delivery and other tasks.

  • Alumni Coordinator - Higher Education
    £13 - £14 per hour

    Charity Talent are recruiting for an Alumni Relations Coordinator working for an Educational Charity, remote work. This is to start asap and it is a Temp contract for 3 months.

    As the Alumni Relations Coordinator you will act as the first point of contact within the team for alumni queries, managing email and routine telephone enquiries, ensuring they are dealt with promptly and exceed alumni needs and expectations. You will execute a range of administrative tasks relating to events such as taking manual bookings, printing guest lists, name badges and purchasing gifts.

    As the Alumni Relations Coordinator you will support the Alumni Engagement team with all data administration as required. This will include inputting data and will log alumni call reports on the Database. You will complete tasks in accordance with defined policies and procedures to ensure that a consistent, world-class service is provided to all clients and stakeholders.


    Further education or equivalent

    Strong administration and project coordination background

    Experience working with volunteers definite advantage

  • Supporter Care Assistant

    Charity Talent are recruiting for a Supporter Care Assistant for an health charity. This is around a 7 week temp role with the possibility to extend. ASAP start.

    It will be working from home for now.

    Roles and responsibilities:

    As the Supporter Care Assistant you will be the first point of contact for supporters and members. You will respond to queries, mostly by phone but also email, letter, social media and web chat on all aspects of their work. You will effectively respond to all enquiries, requests for information and complaints received into their Supporter Care team, taking ownership of these enquiries. You will be using templates for the responses to supporter emails.

    As the Support Care Assistant you will maintain electronic and written communications within the database to ensure customer records are kept up to date and information is available for management reports. You will keep an up-to-date knowledge of the full range of services, products, campaigns and activities across this Charity. This role is to put the supporter at the heart of every engagement by delivering excellent customer service
