Charity Talent are recruiting for a temporary Project and Communication Assistant.

Are you a talented Project and Communication Assistant, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you can assist in providing project assistant for the full life cycle of any assignment? If so then you could be perfect for my client, an Social Welfare Charity in London.

This role is an immediate start and is temporary for four months with the possibility to extend. This role will be hybrid working - office near Euston Station - NW1 2DU

The Role: In this Project and Communication Assistant, you will report to Project Manager. Specific tasks include:

  • Formatting and preparing communication to external members e.g. grantees and panel members.
  • To assist in the day-to-day management of projects.
  • To liaise with staff to ensure that all documentation for projects is up to date.
  • Monitor and track project progress to ensure all parties are kept up to date with any project developments.
  • To be the first point of contact in dealing with queries and issues.
  • To assist in reviewing proposals and guidance on areas of improvements.

The Candidate: To be considered for the Project and Communication Assistant role you will need to demonstrable experience of administrative/operational roles, planning and organising. Charity Talent also need you to have prior experience working in a team supporting multiple people.

Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:

    • Excellent IT skills including excel, word and email
    • Experience of building relationships with partner organisations and individuals
    • Comfortable engaging with variety of audiences, incl. writing and responding to email, conducting telephone and attending virtual and face to face meetings.
    • Ability to work in a team, and seek help when needed.
    • Self-motivated and optimistic with a can-do attitude.
    • Good attention to detail, with the ability to not lose focus when repeating same task.
