Job Description

Are you a talented Senior Office Coordinator, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience of managing the day to day running of an office? If so then you could be perfect for our client, a leisure and cultural Charity in London.

The Role: In this Senior Office Coordinator role you'll report to the Head of Parks (who is responsible for management of the boroughs greenspaces) and will be primarily responsible for the office management. Specific tasks include:

  • Providing administrative support including general office admin, phones, meeting rooms, overseeing office equipment, co-ordinating with provider, liaising with suppliers, facilities and budget management.
  • Overseeing the reception and assisting with park-wide queries from stakeholders and clients.
  • Managing and monitoring email traffic into the office inbox.
  • Logging and recording of any information from inbox and phone calls onto the system.
  • Providing communications to the public, services and council.
  • Overseeing of project implementation - risk mapping, identifying key deliverables and timelines
  • Designing and implementing tools to manage all Events.
  • Handling of health and safety compliance and carrying out quarterly hazard control checks using departmental procedures.

It will be working from their office in Battersea. The standard working hours for this job are 9.00-5.00.

The Candidate: To be considered for the Senior Office Coordinator role you will need to possess successful experience in an office or operations role. Charity Talent also need you to have prior experience of dealing with people at all levels of the company.

    Are you a talented Grants and Programme Assistant, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have administrative experience supporting a wider team? If so then you could be perfect for my client, an Education and Well-being Charity in London. This role is temporary for six months with the possibility to extend.

    The Role: In this Grants and Programme Assistant role, you will report to Grants Coordinator. Specific tasks include:

    • Processing grant applications through to award or rejection.
    • Supporting the wider team on general queries and with managing and processing live grants.
    • Managing the inbox with grants-related requests and queries by either responding directly or forwarding on as appropriate
    • Handling general grants enquiries via phone transferred by Reception and ensure all are dealt with in line with agreed service standard.
    • Maintaining and updating the contact databases, Salesforce.
    • Assisting with filing electronic documents and updating internal and external grants-related documentation.
    • Assisting with organisation of events and meetings
    • Providing administrative support on new programmes and initiatives
    • Booking and arranging travel and accommodation for Directors and Programme Heads.
    • Supporting on presentations, newsletter articles, web text, project pages etc.

    It will be working from home for the time being and then flexibility to work in the London office come June. This role is temporary for six months with the possibility to extend. The standard working hours for this job are 9.00-5.00.

    The Candidate: To be considered for the Grants and Programme Assistant role you will need to demonstrable experience of administrative/operational roles, planning and organising. Charity Talent also need you to have prior experience working in a team supporting multiple people.
