Are you a talented Events and Marketing Officer, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience implementing with digital communication strategy within a fundraising team? If so then you could be perfect for my client, a Faith based Charity in London.

The Role: In this Events and Marketing Officer role you'll report to the Community & Fundraising Events Manager and will be primarily responsible for supporting the delivery of an agreed digital annual work plan. Specific tasks include:

  • Responsible for overseeing marketing activities and working with the wider team to implement and execute marketing objectives.
  • Develop and execute digital strategy across internal and external platforms
  • Developed stakeholder relationship both internally and externally.
  • Manage and grow Community and Events Fundraising teams Facebook account, from content creation, responding to comments and improving engagement levels.
  • Develop, monitor and improve communication content plans
  • Liaise internally to develop successful fundraising marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Produce, manage and evaluate email marketing campaigns including regular e-newsletter.
  • Report and provide regular updates on the outcome of marketing campaigns.

It will be working from home for the time being. This role is temporary to permanent. The standard working hours for this job are 9.00-5.00.

The Candidate: To be considered for the Events and Marketing Officer role you will need to possess at least one-year successful experience in a digital fundraising or marketing or event role. Charity Talent also need you to have prior experience of managing online communities using engaging content such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, blogs.

Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:

  • Experience creating data briefs
  • Used Google AdWords, Facebook Ads and / or other digital marketing channels to expand reach, impact and income
  • Competence with website content management systems, analytical data, and online research
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write interesting copy
  • High level of competence with Microsoft Word, Mailchimp, Excel and PowerPoint and experience of using fundraising databases.
