Job Title: Community Fundraising Engagement Manager - Temp to Perm Opportunity

Location: It will be hybrid working with a few days in the office near Chiswick Park (W4).

£23-25 per hour

Charity Talent are recruitment for a Community Engagement Manager for a Poverty Charity, this is to join their Community & Events fundraising team on a temp basis with the option to apply for the perm role, with an ASAP start.

As the Community Engagement Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Supporter Engagement to create a strategy to grow engagement and income for the team. This role will focus on working with the team to grow awareness of the charity with potential supporters and create stewardship plans for community fundraisers and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans to engage and grow new and existing streams of the fundraising programme.
  • Lead and grow the challenge event supporters.
  • Ensure the CRM is up to date with all recent communication and supporter information.
  • Work closely with the team to create income targets and meet KPI's.
  • Work across the organisation to plan tailored communications and activities to ensure community fundraising and challenge participants are engaged.
  • Manage volunteers and staff at event.
  • Building strong relationships with a range of levels of seniority, from managers to early career professionals.

Requirements:

  • Experience leading different community fundraising activities.
  • Proven ability to establish relationships with existing and new community groups.
  • Experience within stewardship and communicating the impact of fundraising.
  • A track record of achieving income and activity targets.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable proactively building a new programme.
  • An aptitude for proactively turning new prospects into supporters.

  • Temp Fundraising Administrator

    We are recruiting for a Fundraising Administrator for an NHS Trust.

    Location: 3 days in the office near Wembley Park Station (North London) (HA9) or 2 days in Wembley Park and 1 day near Kings Cross Station (N1)

    Duration: 3-month temp role, part-time (21 hours per week)

    We are seeking an Fundraising Administrator who will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the whole fundraising team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To be the first point of contact for a range of enquiries, including promptly responding to telephone calls, emails and letters.
    • To provide administrative support across other income streams such as, sending information packs, merchandise, stewardship materials and grant-making trust applications.
    • To distribute fundraising materials.
    • To act as first point of contact for a wide range of supporters, including some high profile, conveying a professional image at all times.
    • Take responsibility for ensuring that full records are maintained on Raiser's Edge, the fundraising database.
    • To carry out a range of information gathering activities as required, including online research.
    • To ensure all donations are processed quickly and donors are thanked in a timely manner.
    • To support the marketing and communications department as and when needed.
    • To be involved in other tasks and projects as necessary to support the charity

    Requirements:

    • Well organised and methodical with an ability to work accurately under pressure.
