Job Description

Charity Talent are recruiting for a Temp Fundraising Events Manager to work for a Disability Charity who have been incredibly successful with their Events. This is their busiest time of the year so a great time to get stuck in!

Are you a talented Temp Fundraising Events Manager, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience delivering portfolio of challenge events and line managing the team? If so then you could be perfect for my client, and Disability Charity in London

This role is ASAP for 3 months with the possibility to extend. The role requires some attendance in the office but no more than 2 days a week. The office is near Euston Station (NW1)

The Role: In this Fundraising Events Manager role, you will be line managing 3 people (2 officers and 1 assistant) and reporting to Head of Events.

Specific tasks include:

  • Manage and oversee the 3rd party events with the aim increase recruitment levels and grow income.
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing and communication campaigns.
  • Work with the Digital teams to maximise opportunities to tell supporter stories.
  • Write and plan effective and innovative customer stewardship journeys.
  • Manage all financial reporting and budgeting for your projects accurately.
  • Explore new marketing and fundraising opportunities.
  • Coach and develop the team so they can keep evolving their skills and build their professional networks.

The Candidate: To be considered for the Fundraising Events Manager role you will need to demonstrable experience in challenge events.

Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:

  • Charity sector experience so the ability to hit the ground running.
  • Clearly communicate roles, responsibilities, expectations, and ways of working.
  • Strong personal commitment to impact.
  • Significant experience of supporter journey and communication.

    We are seeking a Head of Fundraising who will be responsible for strategic fundraising planning, management, and key relationships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate fundraising strategy.

    • Skills and Knowledge: Excellent people management and interpersonal skills, advanced knowledge of Raiser's Edge and JustGiving, budget management, inspirational leadership, strategic thinking, influencing and relationship building, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with fundraising best practices and relevant legislation/charity law.
    • Other Requirements: Target-driven, proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively and being an active and supportive team member.
  • Temp Fundraising Administrator

    We are recruiting for a Fundraising Administrator for an NHS Trust.

    Location: 3 days in the office near Wembley Park Station (North London) (HA9) or 2 days in Wembley Park and 1 day near Kings Cross Station (N1)

    Duration: 3-month temp role, part-time (21 hours per week)

    We are seeking an Fundraising Administrator who will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the whole fundraising team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To be the first point of contact for a range of enquiries, including promptly responding to telephone calls, emails and letters.
    • To provide administrative support across other income streams such as, sending information packs, merchandise, stewardship materials and grant-making trust applications.
    • To distribute fundraising materials.
    • To act as first point of contact for a wide range of supporters, including some high profile, conveying a professional image at all times.
    • Take responsibility for ensuring that full records are maintained on Raiser's Edge, the fundraising database.
    • To carry out a range of information gathering activities as required, including online research.
    • To ensure all donations are processed quickly and donors are thanked in a timely manner.
    • To support the marketing and communications department as and when needed.
    • To be involved in other tasks and projects as necessary to support the charity

    Requirements:

    • Well organised and methodical with an ability to work accurately under pressure.
    • Ability to prioritise varied workload effectively in order to meet deadlines.
