Are you a talented Fundraising Assistant, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you can support the Corporate Engagement Fundraising team with administrative task during their campaign? If so then you could be perfect for my client, a Cancer Charity based in London.

This is an immediate 3 month temp role with the possibility to extend. This is a ASAP start. It will be hybrid working with a few days in the office near Liverpool Street.

The Role: As the Fundraising Assistant you will be doing the following tasks;

  • Be the first point of contact for supporters and members as well sd offer tips for their fundraising, get to know them and build rapport..
  • You will respond to queries, mostly by phone but also email, letter, social media and web chat on all aspects of their work.
  • You will effectively respond to all enquiries and requests for information into their Corporate team.
  • Update records on our fundraising database.
  • Place orders for fundraising materials.

The Candidate: To be considered for the Fundraising Assistant role you will need to possess administration experience. Charity Talent also need you to have prior experience of dealing with a high volume of emails/calls.

Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a personable and flexible approach.
  • Experience working in a customer service role
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Someone who can take initiative and do independent work
  • Someone who is organised and efficient
