Charity Talent are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Assistant, working for a Health Charity based in the city of London. This is to start ASAP and is a 2 - 3 months contract (possible extension).
As the Recruitment Assistant you will act as the first point of contact for all recruitment matters, providing advice and guidance. You will advise recruiting managers and new starters on the recruitment and new starter process, including guidance on use of manager self-service processes.
As the Recruitment Assistant you will liaise with recruiting managers and successful applicants to ensure the new starter and new appointment process is managed efficiently. You will respond appropriately to telephone, email and written enquiries and information requests. Advise managers, employees and candidates on the interpretation and application of recruitment related policies, procedures and guidelines by telephone, face to face or in writing. You will provide expert advice on where to advertise roles, and on the content of written adverts.
Experience of working in a recruitment or Human Resources environment
An understanding of employment law as it applies to recruitment and contracts
Experience of working with confidential information and an understanding of data protection principles
Experience of using a human resources database or other type of database to input data and produce reports and documents
