Job Description

Charity Talent are recruiting for a Contracts Officer to work in Central Birmingham. Part working from home due to Covid-19. One of the UK's most inspiring and best known faith-based organisations are recruiting for a well-organised Contracts Officer to play a vital support role to the Contract Director of an exciting new contract. This is a Fix Term contract for 5 years. You will contribute to the managing of the support of adult victims of
modern slavery and human trafficking in England and Wales.

As Contracts Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for the Contract Director and responsible for creating and maintaining critical contract documentation and deliverables including contract variations and internal project plans.

You will progress and coordinate the timely delivery of internal and external reporting requirements and ensure the
Contract Director is always fully briefed. We'll also rely on you to schedule and coordinate meetings and conference calls and prepare and distribute relevant papers. Developing and implementing robust systems and processes
to ensure you're able to effectively deliver on your objectives will be important too, as will establishing effective operational relationships with key front-line delivery partners that prioritise the needs of service users
across all areas of operational activity.


You will need:
Proven experience at a similar level within an external supply chain
environment


A solutions-focussed approach and the ability to think critically and
creatively and impact on, and influence, performance and outcomes


A proven ability to develop and maintain effective working
relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels
using your excellent all-round communication skills


Strong attention to detail, effective time management skills and the
ability to prioritise work in response to tight deadlines

    Charity Talent are recruiting for one of the UK's most inspiring and best known faith-based organisations, this position is based in Central Birmingham, part working from home due to Covid-19. This is a 5 year Fix Term Contract.

    They are recruiting for a for a well-organised Service Delivery Manager. Your challenge will be to provide strong leadership to their front-line teams and oversee empathetic, trauma informed service delivery to potential and confirmed victims of modern slavery referred to us for support. You'll also need to establish effective operational relationships with key front-line delivery partners that prioritises the needs of service users and actively seeks to embed The Slavery and Trafficking Survivor Care Standards across all areas of operational activity.

    Capturing, assessing and responding to service user feedback will be important too. And, when it comes to developing and implementing robust systems and processes, being accountable for the performance of front-line teams and providing guidance, advice, coaching and performance management, again, we'll count on you.

    Be responsible for acquiring and maintaining up to date and full knowledge of all the front-line service obligations regarding contractual and policy requirements. Managing the integration and implementation of new services within the Victim Care Contract that are supported by the front-line delivery teams.

    Drive continual improvement, applying ISO principles to facilitate a learning environment that motivates a highly trained and fully competent staff team, delivering effective performance development and succession planning. You will also be line managing a team of 3.
