Charity Talent are recruiting for one of the UK's most inspiring and best known faith-based organisations, this position is based in Central Birmingham, part working from home due to Covid-19. This is a 5 year Fix Term Contract.

They are recruiting for a Partnership Manager to develop a number of partnerships to ensure the success of a brand new contract. You will manage the support of adult victims of modern slavery and human trafficking in England and Wales.

Building productive partnerships with statutory and non-statutory organisations to deliver a coordinated approach to supporting victims of modern slavery is the challenge that awaits you here.

Indeed, you'll be responsible for the proactive management and development of local and national partnerships, both existing and new, internally and with external organisations, to support strategic and operational objectives.

Developing and maintaining relationship with a variety of contacts in local external agencies in order to support the needs of clients will be important too. And, when it comes to helping to build and support a strong team of champions/ representatives to raise awareness and network at regional and local level.

Develop and maintain a relationship with local contacts in agencies and organisations e.g. Local Authorities, police, health providers, the Single Competent Authority, the Department for Work and Pensions, the Independent Child Trafficking Guardians service, local charitable organisations, faith communities to support the needs of clients whilst in the service and when/if they wish to return to their home country.

Develop an engagement plan to build collaborative and effective partnerships working with the sub-contractors (to reflect local arrangements) and other identified external organisations to ensure the delivery of good quality support services, aligning interests, achieving partnership objectives and outputs.

Working with key stakeholders to ensure there is improved identification of potential victims of modern slavery and greater awareness to prevent modern slavery in their supply chains.

Ensure the needs of clients in the service are met by developing close working relationships with key stakeholders e.g Local Authorities to support effective coordination of delivered services, ensure the transition to independence is smooth, support is tailored to need, and care and support assessments are in place if required

Work with the Communications Team to support and contribute to internal and external communications with all partners and stakeholders.

You will need:
Significant experience at a similar level within a partnership/networking environment

The interpersonal, influencing and persuading skills it takes to be a highly credible and professional ambassador and champion for our work, both internally and externally

A proven ability to coordinate, collaborate, network and build relationships with relevant Government bodies, Non-Government Organisations, Statutory Agencies, International Organisations and other such agencies
