Admin Assistant

£16000 - £19000 per annum

Are you a talented Admin Assistant x5, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience being part of a team and supporting on administrative tasks? If so then you could be perfect for my client, a Social Welfare Charity based in Birmingham. This is a permanent and looking for someone to start ASAP. This role will be working from home with occasional visits to the Birmingham office - candidate needs to be close to Birmingham office for urgent meetings and training days. The standard working hours will be 35 hours a week Monday to Friday.

The Role: In this Admin Assistant role you'll report to the Contract Manager and will be provide responsive administrative support. Specific tasks include:

  • Undertaking quality Assurance checks on forms.
  • Providing recommendations for meeting the ongoing support needs of clients.
  • Inputting data onto the System to create client record.
  • Support with referrals for potential clients.
  • Distributing incoming email correspondence to designated team members for ongoing actions.
  • Accurately input data to Excel spreadsheets

The Candidate:

To be considered for the Admin Assistant role you will need to possess previous admin experience and data entry skills.

Data Selection Manager - Health Charity

£42000 - £45000 per annum

Are you a talented Data Selection Manager, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience delivering supporter communication activities including complex selections? If so then you could be perfect for my client, an Health Charity. This role is permanent with hybrid working in their office near Liverpool Street.

The Role: In this Data Selection Manager role you'll report to the Senior Data Manager and will have a team of 2 direct reports (officers). Specific takes include:

  • To support the team to establish selections processes and deliver their day-to-day workload.
  • To ensure effective planning of team resource and project work.
  • To take full ownership the data selections process and develop according to evolving organisational requirements.
  • To drive the design and documentation of existing and new procedures.
  • To support the Officers to develop the FastStats database.
  • To manage the relationship with QBase on a day-to-day basis.
  • To actively seek improvements to processes and procedures.

The Candidate: To be considered for the Data Selection Manager role you will need to possess previous experience in a similar role in a charity. Other skills include:

  • 3 years of proactively managing a team within a fundraising environment.
  • 2 years' experience of working marketing data selections using CRMs.
  • Experience of using FastStats (or equivalent software) to deliver complex data selections.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to prioritise your own workload as well as those of a busy team.
  • Highly accurate data with meticulous attention to detail.

Legacy & In Memory Manager - Health Charity

£34000 - £38000 per annum

Are you a talented Legacy & In Memory Manager, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you can provide the best experience to supporters as well as plan and manage a variety of projects? If so then you could be perfect for my client, a Health Charity based in London.

This is a permanent position with 2 days in the London office (near Bank Station) and the rest working from home.

The Role: As the Legacy & In Memory Manager you will line manage an executive as well as work closely the Head of Fundraising. Specific tasks:

  • Develop and plan the strategy and programme for short and long term goals.
  • Support the team with the development of income and expenditure budgets.
  • Help build excellent relationships with supporters and engage supporter journey.
  • Manage relationships and lead on the communications plan for this audience.
  • Manage the website to resolve issues and communicated with supporters.
  • Line manage Executive, supporting their performance and personal development.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns for products.
  • Ensure information are recorded and maintained accurately on the database.

The Candidate: To be considered for the Legacy & In Memory Manager role you will need to possess experience within fundraising, legacy or in memory would be desirable. Charity Talent also need you to have prior strong relationships experience.

Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:

  • Demonstrable excellent customer/supporter care.
  • Experience of budget setting, and meeting financial targets and other KPIs
  • Line management experience, or experience in supporting and developing more junior members of staff
  • Experience in developing and improving processes.
  • Demonstrable experience in planning and managing projects.
  • Experience using relationship management databases.

list Candidate Resourcing Consultant

For a 5 day working week, pro rata for 3/4 days

Charity Talent is a specialist Recruitment Agency for the Charity and not for profit sector.  We would like to meet a potential Candidate Resourcing Consultant to join our busy team of consultants as soon as possible.  

Ideally, you'll be the type of individual who doesn't need to, or want to be micro-managed and can achieve against expectations and targets. Our head office is based in the City of London EC2A and we have a satellite office in Hertfordshire. As a team we split our working time between the office and home and for this role we can support a 3, 4 or a 5 day per week basis with flexible working hours depending.  

In addition to a generous basic salary, you'll also be rewarded with monthly bonuses (objective focussed and subject to successful completion of probationary period), ongoing training and development, regular team building and social activities (pre-pandemic this included all sorts of activities such as escape rooms, team meals, mini-golf, curling, pool/darts, cocktail making, and trips away etc). 

As the Candidate Resourcing Consultant, you'll work with our Recruitment Consultants to manage and deliver candidate resourcing projects, developing and collating lists of candidates suitable for specific vacancies,  which would include using LinkedIn, job boards and our internal database to identify potential candidates, conducting the initial telephone screening of candidates, interviewing the shortlisted candidates online or face to face and then providing a short overview to the consultants along with your opinion as to whether the candidates are suitable for our current job opportunities. 

Responsibilities will also include all referencing and on boarding of candidates, posting job adverts, assisting with our social media presence and generating candidate referrals.  This will also entail updating candidates CV's and compliance requirements on our database and ensuring all their information is up to date along with making suggestions in terms of how we can improve our "Candidate Experience" which is something at the heart of our business. 

Benefits 
- Salary £23,000 – 27,500 dependant on experience (based on a 5 day working week, pro rata for 3 or 4 days).  
- 25 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays), again pro rata for a 3 or 4 day working week.
