Charity Talent are recruiting for an Fundraising Events Coordinator for a well-known Youth Charity. This is an ASAP start and it is a 3 month contract, with a possible extension.
As the Fundraising Events Coordinator you will support the Fundraising Events Manager. You will be responsible for the day to day running of challenge events, recruiting participants, motivating participants, liaising with them over sponsorship levels to maximise income opportunities, liaising with participants before and after the event.
As the Fundraising Events Coordinator you will develop a strategy and manage the promotion of events on the website, through internal channels and through social media. This includes the design, writing and keeping updated of all marketing collateral.
You will manage the development, execution and coordination of fundraising events. You will act as a point of contact for members of the public and corps who wish to fundraise and support them in all aspects such as fundraising advice and logistical advice about events. You will be supervising and taking responsibility for ensuring all tasks are carried out effectively, efficiently and professionally, achieving agreed KPIs.
At least 1 years' experience in an Event fundraising environment
At least one year administration experience in a marketing environment
Knowledge and experience of the voluntary and fundraising sector
Experience of working to and achieving financial targets
