Fundraising Events Coordinator

  • £12 - £15 per hour

Charity Talent are recruiting for an Fundraising Events Coordinator for a well-known Youth Charity. This is an ASAP start and it is a 3 month contract, with a possible extension.

As the Fundraising Events Coordinator you will support the Fundraising Events Manager. You will be responsible for the day to day running of challenge events, recruiting participants, motivating participants, liaising with them over sponsorship levels to maximise income opportunities, liaising with participants before and after the event.

As the Fundraising Events Coordinator you will develop a strategy and manage the promotion of events on the website, through internal channels and through social media. This includes the design, writing and keeping updated of all marketing collateral.

You will manage the development, execution and coordination of fundraising events. You will act as a point of contact for members of the public and corps who wish to fundraise and support them in all aspects such as fundraising advice and logistical advice about events. You will be supervising and taking responsibility for ensuring all tasks are carried out effectively, efficiently and professionally, achieving agreed KPIs.

Experience:

At least 1 years' experience in an Event fundraising environment

At least one year administration experience in a marketing environment

Knowledge and experience of the voluntary and fundraising sector

Experience of working to and achieving financial targets

Project and Communications Assistant

  • £12 - £14 per hour

Charity Talent are recruiting for a Children's Charity and they are recruiting for a Project and Communications Assistant to start ASAP. This is for 4 months, with a possible extension.

As the Project and Communications Assistant you will provide high level project, administrative and communications support to a team of staff. You will act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible to create, edit and proof-read business communications and documents including assisting with the production of project reports, publications and promotional material.

As the Project and Communications Assistant you will actively engaged in the development of new projects and programmes across the department, and agree tasks within them as appropriate. You will understand and administer financial procedures. You will develop and maintain administrative systems and procedures as required including project tracking and monitoring.

Programme Manager

  • £23 - £24 per hour

Are you a talented Programme Manager, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have experience successfully delivering programmes? If so then you could be perfect for my client, an Education Charity in London. This role is temp to perm.

The Role: In this Programme Manager role, you will be working in the Leadership Programme team. Specific tasks include:

  • Help run recruitment days and hold the relationship with the participants
  • Oversee programme delivery ensuring programme deliverables are met and participants receive an excellent learning experience and develop the tools to improve their leadership skill.
  • Oversee programme design and development.
  • Work closely with Partnerships team to develop positive and collaborative relationships with senior leaders in local authorities
  • Work closely with Fellows to identify opportunities to embed and develop leadership within social work.
  • Support on budget management and the writing of grants and funding applications.

It will be working from home for the time being and then flexibility to work in the London office come September (2-3 days a week).

The Candidate: To be considered for the Programme Manager role you will need to demonstrable significant programme management experience. Charity Talent also need you to have prior experience building internal and external relationships.

Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Third Sector or Public Sector environment and context.
  • Ability to Identify aims and manage data.
  • Quick learner and can take on responsibility quicky.
  • Ability to contribute effectively and constructively as a member of the Programme Team.
  • Deadline driven.
  • Has some understand of budget management.

People Administrator

  • £11 - £12 per hour

Charity Talent are recruiting for a People Administrator working for a Youth Charity. This is to start ASAP for 2 months with the possibility to extend. Working from home.

The Role: As the People Administrator you will be supporting the very busy HR team on any administrative tasks. Specific tasks include:

  • Supporting with employee data management
  • Administering personnel evidence for payroll
  • Recruitment support, including posting roles, processing candidates and arranging interviews
  • Supporting with employee onboarding incl. pre-employment checks and induction support
  • Supporting HR inbox queries and external requests
  • Any other ad-hoc administration support as required

The Candidate: To be considered for the People Administrator role you will need to demonstrable experience of dealing with multiple administrative tasks. Charity Talent also need you to have prior experience supporting a wider team.

Additional skills:

  • Experience of working remotely, as part of a virtual team
  • Experience of working with confidential material, or the understanding of what this entails.
  • Ability to hit the ground running.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to flexibly respond to both internal and external stakeholders.

Programme Coordinator

  • £16 - £18 per hour

Are you a talented Programme Coordinator, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you have administrative experience supporting a wider team? If so then you could be perfect for my client, an Education Charity in London. This role is temporary for three months with the possibility to extend. It will be working from home with 1-2 days in London Office.

The Role: In this Programme Coordinator role, you will report to Education Programme Manager and working in the Curriculum Team. Specific tasks include:

  • Be a central person for all queries and support for the team
  • Provide admin support to the wider team including organising meetings, viewing documentation, data management and proofing and editing of curriculum material.
  • Liaising with speakers and supporting on contracts and travel requests.
  • Supporting on finance requests including budgets and dealing with invoice request.
  • Supporting on virtual platform (Moodle) to make sure the course is running smoothly.
  • Liaising with other staff members such as library staff to make sure reading list is up to date.
  • Supporting on projects - making sure everything runs smoothly and scheduling meetings.
  • Sending out programme newsletters.
  • Speak to stakeholders to keep them informed.

The Candidate: To be considered for the Programme Coordinator role you will need to demonstrable experience of administrative/operational roles, planning and organising. Charity Talent also need you to have prior experience working in a team supporting multiple people. As well as:

  • Deals with pressure well.
  • Able to juggle lots of tasks at once.
  • Can hit the ground running.
  • Have programme experience.
  • Confident with Excel.
