Charity Talent are recruiting for a Marketing Assistant to work within Higher Education to start asap. This is a Temp to Perm contract.
As the Marketing Assistant you will oversees day-to-day marketing activities for the marketing department as they apply to supporting the marketing and communication needs of the Advancement Department (Alumni engagement and fundraising), whilst aligning with the Schools wider marketing and communications goals. A key focus will be to prepare for the next Fundraising Campaign, supporting the development and delivery of a comprehensive communications plan that will enable significant and game-changing funds to be raised.
As the Marketing Assistant you will support in the development of an annual strategy and ensure a clear communications plan is in place. You will work with the in house Content & Creative team to design and produce all marketing collateral and supporting. You will be the marketing lead for all Alumni calendar events. When needed, writing copy for marketing collateral or working with the in house Copywriters on larger copy.
You will manage internal and external suppliers including on-boarding of new suppliers in line with procurement. A level of general office management/admin assistance expected in this role, including co-managing the office stationary supplies, Office & IT liaison - supporting the Executive PA.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant subject
Understanding of the higher education sector
Understanding of fundraising in charity and/or higher education
Previous marketing experience favourable
Skills/ Experience Required:
Experience in fundraising / alumni relations
Project management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
