Project Assistant - Children's Charity

£10 - £11 per hour

Charity Talent are recruiting for a Project Assistant, to work for a Children's Charity based near Brixton, immediate start. This is an ongoing Temporary Contract.

As the Project Assistant you will act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate logistics of the team, senior staff and/or volunteers including diary management, travel and meetings. To plan and service internal and external meetings and events including liaising with venues and speakers, preparing information packs, drafting agendas, taking minutes. To develop and maintain administrative systems and procedures as required including project tracking and monitoring, including supporting the day to day management of the office and working with Lambeth Council staff on volunteer processes.

To create, edit and proof-read business communications and documents including assisting with the production of project reports, publications and promotional material and up-dating web-sites and social media. To understand and administer financial procedures. To develop, support and maintain databases including those relating to specialist groups. To be actively engaged in the development of new projects and programmes across the department, and agree tasks within them as appropriate. Occasional travel and some out of hours working may be required with notice.

This post may involve working with sensitive issues or directly with parents or children and young people, full training and support will be given if required.

Trust and Statutory Fundraising Officer

£26000 - £31000 per annum

Charity Talent are recruiting for a Trust and Statutory Fundraising Officer to work for a well-known Health Charity based in Central London. Location can be flexible and some working from home.

As the Trust and Statutory Fundraising Officer you will secure and manage existing and new income (50/50).

You will be required to develop and maintain a strong small trust's portfolio generating in excess of £100K. You will also be required to develop a pipeline, grown and personally secure income from a low-medium sized funder pool.

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of restricted funding opportunities in line with team plans. Write compelling and complex proposals. Increase giving levels of current donors. Develop and maintain excellent external relationships with key funders. REcord income and donor communication accurately.

Experience:

You will be able to communicate in a compelling way usign multiple methods.

Write effective funding proposals with proven success of securing fundring.

Approach, identify and engage new funders.

Write compelling bids and funder reports.

Secure income from low to medium size funders.
